MARKS & SPENCER: further expansion planned in Middle East
THE MASTER licensee of the Marks & Spencer chain in Saudi Arabia and the Caucasus region, Alhokair Fashion Retail, announced that it is preparing to open ten new stores in Saudi Arabia by April 2015. Eight of the new stores are to be in the new exclusive lingerie and beauty products format. It will also open the chain’s first outlet in Azerbaijan: a flagship store in Baku. Since 2001, when it first began to collaborate with the British chain, Alhokair has opened 19 franchises in its territory.
Wherever it expands outside the UK, the British chain continues to place special emphasis on its assortment of intimate apparel.
