IN ORDER to appeal to young consumers as an entry line, Chantal Thomass launched a new range featuring only bottoms. Labelled Les Impertinentes, the new line features ten styles including thongs, culottes, boxers and bloomers. Fabrics used include stretch tulles for four models and microfibre for the others. Priced between EUR 25 and EUR 35, the new products are available from the designer’s boutique in Paris as well as from selected independent retailers. A similar range is to be proposed also for S/S 2016.
While the label alone promises to tempt many younger consumers, its effectiveness as an entry line could well prove limited by the relatively high price of tops.
