LAUNCHED for S/S 2015 by French underwear brand Freegun, which is produced and distributed by Textiss, is a range of boxers featuring 3D prints. As in the cinema, the 3D effect requires special glasses that are supplied with each purchase. Six different print designs are proposed, most with a sports theme. Retailers can benefit from special POS displays to promote the 3D prints and a dedicated website will provide further support, with links to social networks.
Despite restricted viewing opportunities, 3D printed underwear provides a promising conversation topic and could prove highly desirable for many younger consumers.
