US CASUAL clothing brand Guess revealed plans to intensify its efforts to boost sales of the label’s intimate apparel lines in North America and Europe. Special emphasis is to be placed on developing the UK market, which is deemed to have enormous potential. It is also intended to boost distribution in Asia through the opening of specialized retail stores there. A dedicated sales force is being formed to implement the new strategy. The S/S 2017 collection will reflect the new strategy and will include loungewear and sleepwear as well as active wear.
The strength of the Guess outerwear label in many markets promises to allow a significant expansion of its intimate apparel sales.
