THOUGH short on significant figures and statistics, notably as regards attendance, the closing report circulated by the organizers of the Interfilière Hong Kong salon for innerwear production supplies and services described the event as successful. Asian suppliers at the show that closed on March 16 accounted for 84 per cent of the exhibitors and European firms for 15 per cent. The show attracted 25 first-time exhibitors and was visited mainly by Asians, who accounted for 91 per cent of attendance. Quotes from exhibitors’ and visitors’ feedbacks indicated a high level of satisfaction from both.
There can be no doubt that the event is now solidly integrated into the intimate apparel scene in Asia and well meets the needs of suppliers and manufacturers there.
