UK ONLINE trade medium Lingerie Insight reported that, encouraged by the success of the swimwear range launched by parent brand L’Agent Provocateur, subsidiary brand L’Agent is preparing to launch its own first capsule collection of swimwear. The line of 20 pieces, including bikinis, swimsuits and cover-ups, will reach L’Agent stores, its e-commerce and the Net A Porter online store in July. It will feature a variety of shapes to cater for different body types and display both bright and classic colours.
Though a comparatively recent newcomer to the parent brand’s assortment, swimwear is now reported to account for 12 per cent of its sales. It should not take long for the new line to assume comparable importance in the sales of L’Agent.
