ONLINE SALES: growth in UK strengthens again

ACCORDING to figures shown by the IMRG Capgemini eRetail Sales Index, online sales of lingerie in the UK rose by 31 per cent year-on-year in July 2016. This compares with the 22 per cent growth recorded by all clothing sales in the country that month. The Index growth was said to have been partly fuelled by a resurgence of sales growth by multichannel retailers.

This is yet another indication of the considerable growth potential for online sales of lingerie and men’s underwear.
