PUNTO BLANCO: expansion in China to be maintained
FOLLOWING the opening of its sixth store in China, located in Shanghai, Spanish underwear brand Punto Blanco said that although no other openings there were planned for this year, new stores in major Chinese cities were being considered for 2015 and beyond. A subsidiary of Corporacio Empresarial Valls, the company is one of the two leading underwear brands in Spain, with products for men, women and children and is also the country’s leading producer of socks. It exports to more than 35 countries in Europe, the Americas and Asia.
Since DBApparel, that owns the Abanderado underwear label, has been acquired by HanesBrands, Punto Blanco remains the only major Spanish-owned underwear brand.
