THE WHOLE range of the company’s PA6.6 and PA6 BCF yarns is covered by an Environmental Product Declaration (EDP) recently published by RadiciFil SpA, a subsidiary of RadiciGroup. The EDP was produced using the principles of a cradle-to-grave Life Cycle Assessment and complies with the ISO 14025 standard on environmental declarations. RadiciFil Marketing Manager Arturo Andreoni commented: “The EPD is yet another step in our concrete commitment to achieving sustainability. It will allow us to provide the market and our customers with information on our yarns’ environmental impact that is based on scientific, verifiable and comparable data.”
Although BCF yarns are not used for bodywear fabrics, RadiciGroup applies the same environmental commitment to the full range of nylon yarns it supplies to knitters of swimwear and innerwear fabrics.
