DAVID McCREIGHT: appointed CEO of Anthropologie chain

DISTRIBUTION group Urban Outfitters announced the appointment of David McCreight (48) as CEO of its Anthropologie chain, renowned for its cutting edge selection of bodywear. McCreight was president of Under Armour from 2008 to 2010 and had previously held key positions with Land’s End, Disney and Saks.

TOM CASEY: resigns from American Apparel before end of contract

APPOINTED in October 2010 on a 15 months renewable contract to work with American Apparel founder Dov Charney to turn around the troubled business, Tom Casey resigned from the company for unspecified reasons. The company declined to comment upon his departure.
