DOGI: 35 novelties to be launched at next month’s Interfilière
UNDER four different themes – Everyday, Femininity, Seduction and Clean Cut – Dogi is to launch some 35 fabric novelties at the upcoming edition of the Interfilière salon. It is also launching the Duplex sub-brand for its comprehensive range of circular and warp-knitted double-face fabrics. When making the announcement, the company also stated that, thanks to the novelties in previous collections, its order book position was now 15 per cent better than a year ago. It specified that the improved order book position had not been reflected in first quarter results because of reduced activity at the Nanjing mill in China that it must vacate in the coming months. It added that various options were being considered to ensure future service to Asian customers.
At a time of economic difficulties in Spain, and in most of Europe, the 15 per cent improvement of the company’s order book position is an achievement of considerable merit.
