FAST FASHION LILLE: success claimed for first edition

STAGED in Lille, France, on June 13 and 14, the first edition of Fast Fashion Lille, that combines the Tissu Premier show of fashion fabric pre-collections and the Collections event for fast fashion private label manufacturers attracted 4’974 visitors, a rise of 39 per cent against the Tissu Premier event a year earlier. Almost a third of the attendance originated outside France, mainly from the UK, Germany, Spain and Italy.

Although not focused on bodywear, the event merits interest because of the early glimpse it offers of trends in the volume fashion market.
