A REPORT from the IMRG showed that UK online stores saw their April sales grow by 13 per cent year-on-year. The surge followed four months of single-digit growth and clothing sales in particular rose by 15 per cent. The figures also confirmed the continuing growth in the proportion of sales made with mobile devices; these rose by 8 per cent against March and by 52 per cent against the same month a year earlier. The conversion rate also rose significantly, by 3.9 per cent month-on-month.
Although the figures relate to online sales of all categories, it is very probable that sales of intimate apparel and swimwear shared the general trend.
