UK: online lingerie sales continue to strengthen

THE LATEST report from IMRG Capgemini eRetail Sales Index showed that online sales of intimate apparel in the UK rose by 41 per cent year-on-year in June 2016. That same month, total online sales of all product types rose by 17 per cent year-on-year. While sales made on tablets continued to stagnate, with a growth rate of 0.4 per cent, sales on smartphones rose by 69 per cent.



The strong rate of expansion provides further evidence of the considerable growth prospects that remain to be exploited by bodywear manufacturers and distributors.
