NOT CONTENT with its Designer of the Year 2016 award from the Interfilière salon, Willy Hermann scored another success by being the first European knitter to adopt the Cooling technology developed by Invista for Lycra Beauty bodywear yarns. The Austrian knitter will present at the Interfilière salon in Paris the first commercially available range of fabrics that incorporates the new technology. Willy Hermann production and R&D chief Ralph Hermann commented: “To ensure we bring our customers the latest in intimate apparel, we collaborate with LYCRA for our fabric innovations. Therefore we are very happy to be the first-ever mill to have LYCRA BEAUTY COOLING technology certified fabrics commercially available in Europe. Depending on the customer need, the offering reaches from lightweight to heavier fabrics – but of course all with long-lasting shaping performance and moisture management.”
The company’s early adoption of the Invista technology will boost yet further its reputation as a leader in textile innovation.
