WOMEN’SECRET: achieves most growth within Cortefiel group
LINGERIE chain Women’Secret achieved greater growth than any other chain in the Cortefiel group in 2013, with sales of EUR 190,94m representing an increase of 6 per cent against the preceding year. Together with the Springfield outerwear chain, Women’Secret also achieved the greatest international expansion. This positive evolution contrasts with the disappointing performance of the group, that generated 2013 sales of EUR 964.21m, up by only 1 per cent against 2012, and declared a 12.64 per cent decline in EBITDA.
The relatively strong performance of the lingerie chain was achieved despite economic uncertainties in several of its more important markets.
