YAMAMAY: expands further in Canaries islands
ITALIAN intimate apparel chain Yamamay opened its fourth store on the Canaries islands. The new 64m2 outlet is located in a shopping mall on Lanzarote. It complements one store on Tenerife and two on Gran Canaria and reflects the chain’s intention to strengthen its presence in Spain where it has opened 40 stores to date. The chain is operated by Pianoforte Holding, which now counts over 1’000 points of sale worldwide for its Yamamay, Jaked and Carpisa brands.
The expansion of Yamamay in the Canaries should allow it to benefit from the relatively long tourist season in the area, in addition to the local trade.
