CURVEXPO: success reported for both US trade fairs
ORGANIZERS of intimate apparel trade fairs in the US, Curvexpo reported the success of the two events it staged last month. Attendance at CurveNY, from 3 to 5 August in New York, was held at the level of August 2013, when it had mushroomed by 17 per cent to reach 2’700 buyers, and order writing was described as « affluent ». At CurveNV, staged in Las Vegas on 18 and 19 August, attendance was stable against August 2013 and some brands described the show as their best session to date. An interesting feature of the show was the 20/40 Program, which allowed brands and resort retailers to identify the keys to success in selling through resort outlets.
